This summer has been a very different summer for so many of us. While the restrictions that COVID-19 has caused have fluctuated throughout the year, we can say that we have been doing well. Here’s an interview with Pastor Steve Berg from South Abbotsford Church (our home church):
VICTORY! Share Bibles is READY!
The Share Bibles App, which is one of the main missions projects we’ve been working on has finally gone public! This is a huge milestone for us!
The Share Bibles App update now tracks the Bible resources being distributed (including language, format and portion). This will help us learn about the effectiveness of Bible distribution and the types of Bibles being distributed.
People around the world, even in the midst of COVID-19 restrictions are distributing God’s word. In just the last 2 months, over 10,000 Bibles have been distributed. Here’s a video of one Bible distribution ministry in Switzerland:

Between the Red Sea and the Egyptians: Venezuelan Passport Update
As many of you know, we’ve been facing the challenge of getting Cy a new passport because her country has fallen apart. We wanted to give an update regarding this situation and our hope in the midst of it. Here’s Cy:

Prayer requests
Cy’s passport situation: that we would have faith in God to be our Savior in ALL circumstances, especially this one.
Visa extensions: Our visa for the USA will be expiring in December and so we’re gathering the paperwork now to apply for our extension (hopefully in the coming weeks). Pray that it goes smoothly and efficiently. We’re also trusting God for the visa fees ($2500 USD for 2.5 years visa).
Elias’ education: this year Elias enters 5th grade, which is a big shift for him. There is an increase in content and expectations and work. Pray that he meets the challenge with hope and diligence. He’s already doing so well.
Bible Projects: Share Bibles has been launched. We are launching an online Bible formatting tool called “SourceView Bible Editor” this month and hope to have teams from around the world working on developing the SourceView Bible in other languages. There’s one more Bible tool that I’m working on that will hopefully launch next month: “Start Bibles” (more info coming soon).
